About this song
How to write a 5-paragraph essay, in one West Coast boom-bap track for grades 6-9. Verse 1 builds the introduction (hook, context, and a thesis with three points) and the first topic sentence. Verse 2 covers evidence, citing your source, analysis that connects back to the thesis, and transitions, the same way through all three body paragraphs. The beat switch covers the conclusion: rephrase the thesis, synthesize your points, answer "so what," and no new evidence. The outro breaks down one model sentence.
