About this song
How to write an essay, as a test-day rock anthem for grades 6-9. Verse 1 builds the introduction: a hook in the first line or two, context, and a one-sentence thesis with three points. The pre-chorus covers every body paragraph: topic sentence, evidence, and analysis that explains why it matters. Verse 2 runs body paragraphs two and three and the transition to the conclusion, and the second pre-chorus covers the conclusion: restate the thesis in new words and answer "so what." The bridge puts the whole structure together.
